She had five siblings, namely: Amy Elizabeth, Harold Mathew, Doris, Ella, and Gordon. She died on 06 Oct 2002^[1] in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 35, she married Dudley Trezare Jeffree,son of William Trezare Jeffree and Harriet Ellen Bartle, on 25 Jul 1955^[2] in Hurstville, New South Wales, Australia.

Jean Fernance was buried^[3] in Sutherland, New South Wales, Australia (Woronora Cemetery).
