Obituary - Mrs. Maude F. Moore
Mrs. Maude F. Moore, 96, of 300 W. 34th St., died Saturday at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Scott County, Va., and had moved to the Kansas City area four years ago. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker. She leaves a son, Edward Moore of the home; and a daughter, Mrs. Willa Lattimer, Kansas City. Services will be in Appalachia, Va.; burial in the American Legion Cemetery, Big Stone Gap, Va.[8]
Maude Ferrell married Thomas 'Tom' Moore who preceded her in death on April 22, 1965. Born to this union were 4 children, Minnie Moore Sakay, Violet Cleo Moore Collins, Willie Rose Moore Lattimer and Edward Thomas Moore. Maude was a sister to Jesse Lee Ferrell, Charlie "Whiskers" Emmett Ferrell, George Morgan Ferrell, Florence Virginia 'Jennie' Ferrell Lovell, Buna Ferrell Clifton, Frona Belle Ferrell Fleenor, Renda Ferrell Carroll and Julia Reddy Ferrell Fritz.[9]
