Biography

16 December 1881 - correct birth record for Thomas Wilson Ferrell, son of James Ferrell and Sarah Miner. Father's birthplace is given as Trenton. ^[1]

18 December 1881 - birth record for Thomas Wilson Fernel, son of James Fernel and Sarah Miner. ^[2]

1900 - 1940 - living in Mill Township, Tuscarawas, Ohio. 1910 Census says he worked in insurance. In 1920 he was working at the fish market. By 1930 he worked as a blacksmith.^{[3] [4] [5][6][7]}

1909 - married in Uhrichsville. ^[8]

1917 - 1918 his draft record has him working at Scott Coal Co. as a blacksmith. Medium build, medium height. Brown eyes, black hair.^[9]

1942 - draft record gives employer as Robinson & son sewerpipe, Uhrichsville. Height 5'8", 211 pounds, brown eyes, brown hair and bald ruddy complexion. Gail Ferrell recalls he was always very dark skinned. ^[10]

Note: 1940 census is incorrectly for Thomas H Ferrell.

1950 he was working as a greenhouse truck driver in Mill township. ^[11]

He collected arrowheads.
