Note: Joseph Ferris was one of five children born to Jeffrey Ferris and his first wife, whose name is not certain. Connecticut documents prove that Jeffrey was married three times. For this reason, a mother's profile has not been linked to Joseph at this time
Joseph Ferris was born c. 1638, died in 1699. He married 20 Sep 1657 to Ruth Knapp. Their children are:

His will is dated 9 Jun 1699.[7] He mentions his wife but not her name. He mentions his sons, John (eldest), James, Benjamin, Caleb, Moses, Joseph, and Joshua. DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:
Anderson in "Great Migration" indicates that Jeffrey Ferris's 1st wife was the mother of all his children; so Anne Milton may be detached as that is an error. Thanks.
Thanks, I looked again at the descendants known to date: Son John in both profiles has same DoB, married Abigail Hait/Hoyt, same children. Looks like a clear match to me, I would vote for merging both father and son, and cleaning up the bios:
