Robert Ferris was born about 1840[1]
Robert FERRIS married Elizabeth ARNOTT 20th September 1868 at Poplar, Middlesex, England. Robert FERRIS, carpenter of Cotton Street, son of George FERRIS (shoemaker) and Elizabeth ARNOTT, of Cotton Street, daughter of John ARNOTT (sawyer). Witnessed by William PITTMAN & Louisa FERRIS[2]
Robert (aged 34 years, carpenter) emigrated to Hawkes Bay, New Zealand aboard the "Halcione" on the 24th March 1874, along with his wife Elizabeth FERRIS (aged 26) and 3 year old daughter Elizabeth FERRIS.[1]
