Note IN78Records of Mrs Dale singing at various events in Reefton in the 1880s. Eg., at a concert and ball in aid of funds for the Reefton Hospital, The Inangahua Times, September 9, 1885, "Mrs Dale's rendition of 'My Molly Asthore' proved her to be a true daughter of song, and she received a very hearty acknowledgement from the audience". 1

Letter, dated 17 March 1911, from Daniel Ferris, 77, in Capleston to his daughter Annabella Dale, living in Wellington(?). Describes a cart accident, written up in the local paper at the time. His wife, Eliza (McIntyre) appears to be suffering from senile dementia.
