Biography

His father's will listed children Sarah Adams, Leonard L. Fielder, Margaret Nicholson, John J. Fielder and Jane Edwards.[1][2] His name usually appeared as J. J. Fielder in census and county records.

John J Fielder received a license on 12 Feb 1835 and married Rebecca J May/Mays in Gibson County, Tennessee.[3]

J. J. Fielder and Caron Ann Turpin were married 04 Sep 1838 in Gibson County, Tennessee. The marriage bond was dated 1 Sep 1838 and signed by J. J. Fielder and D. R. Mays. The marriage was performed on 4 Sep 1838 by J. W. H. Mays, MG.[4][5]
