He served in the TN Militia. He married Lucinda "Lucy" Davidson abt 1800 in Hawkins Co, TN. David and Lucy had the following children: Susannah, George, Sarah, Mary, Dicy, Elizabeth, and Milly.
KIlled at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend. Described as "One of the brave Cherokees who swam the river to steal the canoes of the Creeks" to prevent their escape. This was the final stand for the Creek Nation in what would become Alabama and Mississippi. Afterward, they ceded their land by treaty to Major General Andrew Jackson and the United States.
