Eugenie Fields is a descendant of an Acadian

Eugenie was born 4 January 1854. She is the daughter of Eugene Fields and Marie Pitre. [1]

According to information on his FindAGrave memorial Onesippe Arcement married Eugenie Fields 4 February 1872 in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana.

In 1880 Eugenie and her husband, Onesippe Arcement, are listed together living in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. They have three children ages 5, 3, and 0 years old. Their estimated year of marriage is 1874 judging by the birth of their first child. [2]

Eugenie reportedly died in 1899. Her husband, Onesippe, was listed as a widower on the 1900 census so she certainly died before 1900.
