Biography

Lester was born in 1930 in Oregon.[1,2,3,4] In the 1940 census, he is listed with his step grandparents, E. R and Emma James, Clayton Fields, possibly his father or uncle, uncle Kenneth Fields and older brother Verney Fields, all living on a rural farm in Jackson County, Oregon.[4] He enlisted in the army and served in WW II.[1]

On June 15, 1957 he married Donna Satterlee in Oregon.[5] Apparently this marriage was very short, as in June of the following year he married Donna Prentiss in Stevenson, Washington.[6] That marriage licenses gives his residence at the time as Marin County, California.[6] City directories of 1958 and 1959 show that he had moved back to Oregon, to Medford, and was working as a laborer.[7]

He passed away in 1972 at age 41 in Clackamas County, Oregon.[1,2,3]
