Thomas Fife was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, May 21, 1812. He was the son of John Fife and Mary Hoie Fife.[1]
Thomas was married on March 25, 1838 in Columbiana County to Mary Elizabeth Rapp. Her parents are not known. [2][3]
Thomas and Mary Elizabeth lived in Ohio through 1860. per Federal Census records, however the 1870 Census shows them in Kentucky and the 1880 Census has them having removed to Marion, Williamson County, Illinois. john's occupation is shown as "farmer".[4]
Thomas passed away February 3, 1885 in Saline County, Illinois. He was buried in the Number Seven Cemetery, in Carrier Mills, Saline County, Illinois. He was 72 years of age.[1]
