Maj. John Fife was born in this county in 1801. He is a son of John and Isabella (Thompson) Fife;Maj. Fife married, in 1824, Margaret Spark, who became the mother of seven children, as follows: Sarah Ann (deceased), Isabella (deceased), Elizabeth, Margaret, Hannah, John T. and Mary Jane.
