DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage (beta) of DNA with Joseph:

Marilyn, I cannot find a death record for Joseph Filion in the 1728 Terrebonne parish register or in the PRDH database. It is widely believed that the Joseph Filion who was born 26 Oct 1704 in St-François-de-Sales de l’Île-Jésus died at 75 years of age in Terrebonne (the first church wasn't built there until 1734) on January 11, 1779. We have a profile for that Joseph Filion. What can we add to this profile for sources? Can I help do some research to straighten this out?
