Biography
Edith Augusta, daughter of Rev. Robert Finch and Elizabeth Mies. was born and christened at St. James the Less at Pangbourne in 1867. [1] In 1871 she is at Pangbourne Rectory with her family [2]as she in 1881 [3] and in 1891 [4]
She married Rev James Farmer Rowley, son of Rev Thomas and Emily Rowley at Harpenden in 1897. [5] [6] In 1901 Edith is at the the Vicarage in Spelsbury, Charlbury with son Roger and daughter Margaret, [7] whilst James is visiting Rev. Robert Baker in Ransden Oxfordshire [8] By 1911 they are still at Spelsbury Vicarage with daughters Margaret and Esther [9]
whilst Roger is at St Edward's School, Oxford [10] james died in Cornwall in 1937 and Edith in 1939 is in Truro (possibly) [11] She died at Ottery St. Mary, Devon in 1952. [12] Her daughter Esther was an executor of her Will [13]
