On 16 Feb 1883, along with her husband John, she signed a deed selling the E ½ of SE1/4 Sec 7, T4 R15, and the W1/2 of SW ¼ S8 T4 R15 containing 160 acres to her son Jackson Magilbry Franklin.
Celia died 03 May 1899 and is buried in Fairmount Baptist Church Cemetery, Red Level, Covington County, Alabama.
