When Letitia Alice Finlayson was born on 21 September 1909, in Mandeville, Southland, New Zealand, her father, Benjamin Finlayson, was 42 and her mother, Elizabeth Millar Wilson, was 34.[1]
She married Sydney Caughey in 1935, in New Zealand.[2]
She died on 16 April 1996,[3] in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand, at the age of 86. She was cremated 22 April 1996, and buried 13 June 1996 in the Southland Crematorium - Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand, 1 Garden of Rest, Plot 4. Inscription: Caughey Treasured memories of Sydney 1907 - 1993 Letitia Alice 1909 - 1996 Forever loved by all the family[4]
