My grandmother came from Co Down she was raised in Fountain Street with her siblings, parents and Grandparents Alexander Shaw and Letitia Bailie. She was a primary school teacher all her life and came to a little place called Loughros Point to teach in the local Methodist school com Meeting house playing the church organ at Sunday morning services and again at Sunday meetings in the school house. She had lodgings beside the Lockhart homestead where she met and married George Edwin Lockhart in 1915.she raised 4 children and followed the Presbyterian tradition of handing down surnames to both her sons calling one Alexander Shaw after her grandfather and her second son William Acheson. SHE NAMED ONE DAUGHTER AFTER HER GRANDMOTHER GREAT GRANDMOTHER AND GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER Margery Letitia. Her oldest daughter was named Mary Jane Noel after her paternal grandmother.
