Maddalena Finocchio is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Giovanni Finocchio and Francesca Scimonetto, who married in 1776. She is named after her paternal grandmother.
Maddalena marries Bernardo Mondello, son of Antonino Mondello and Teresa Palumbo, on 10 July 1803. Her mother has died by this time.[1]
Bernardo and Maddalena have at least two children, Carmelo (c. 1807) and Santo (c. 1830).
Carmelo is born around 1807, based on his reported age at death.
I estimate Santo is born around 1830, twenty years before he marries.
Carmelo marries Rosaria Oliveri on 4 October 1835. Bernardo and Maddalena are still living at this time.[2]
Santo marries Marianna Nicolosi on 5 May 1850. Bernardo has died by this time.[3]
Maddalena dies a widow at the age of 70 in Corleone in October 1852.[4]
Carmelo dies at age 50 (b. 1807) on 25 July 1857. His wife, Rosa, survives him.[5]
