Biography

Arrived on 2 Jan 1924, on the "Mount Clay", last place of residence "Hausen".[1] Her son recalls the town name to have been Hausen vor Wald.
Her sponsor was her uncle, Julius Baumann, of Raymond, Minnesota.

Notes

Emma's mother's surname may have been Baumann. Julius Baumann, of Raymond, MN sponsored Emma's arrival in the US.[1] Since Julius Baumann's wife (Pauline Dressler) was born in Illinois[2] Julius was probably the brother of Emma's mother.
