Born in 1963 to an NPS Archaeologist and a Chemist, I have inherited a large quantity of paper-based ancestry information on my Father's side. We trace the Robertson side back to Blaze Robertson being thrown out of England for assaulting a Bobby, where he ended up in America and was a Quartermaster in the Revolutionary War. The Fischers we have tracked back to the 16th century in Germany, a long line of hog farmers and butcher. Hence my propensity for bacon.
My mother was adopted, so that is a Black Box: her DNA test indicates Irish.
