Biography

Michael was born in 1895. He passed away in 1958. He arrived at Ellis Island in the United States at 10 years of age with his mother Anna Fischer on 08/21/1906 on the S.S. Records indicate he arrived using the first name Mihaly ( German for Michael) and sur name Adamovich (birth name of his father Adam Adamovich) although he had been using Fischer as a birth name and was baptized as "Michael Fischer" as evidenced by original baptismal certificate and a copy of a sworn deposition of his mother, Anna Schaefer, formally Fischer, currently in my possession. Michael became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America on September, 29, 1943 as evidenced by certificate No. 6026033, the original in my possession.
