Francis Hugo Fischer was born in 1879 in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Hugo was the eldest of six children of Hugo Fischer and Annie Clausen.[1] Being the eldest, and having attained his majority, when his parents passed away (1898 and 1901) Hugo bore the responsibility for raising his younger siblings, then aged: Elsie (20), Pauline (18), Harold (15) and Frank (13).
Job well done, Hugo married Elsie Maud Mundell in 1912 in Victoria.[2]
He passed away in 1954 in Victoria.[3]
