At the time of the US 1940 census, Clara Ziegenbalg was living in Cawker City, Cawker Township, Mitchell, Kansas with her husband Marcus Ziegenbalg (age 37, born in Kansas) and daughter.[4]
Clara Dorothea Amelia Fischer Ziegenbalg (born 7 Jan 1907) died on 26 May 1965 and was buried in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cawker City, Mitchell, Kansas.[5]
