Julius Fischer was born in Pennsylvania.

Julius Fischer has German Roots.

Julius, son of the German immigrants Wilhelm C. "William" Fischer and Sophia L. Krentler,^[1] was born 23 April 1854 in Hanover, York, Pennsylvania.^[1] His parents had him baptized 26 October 1854 at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church in Hanover.^[1]

About 1894^[2] he married Alice Senora Bowman,^[3] daughter of John Bauman and Catherine Stambaugh.^[4][5] They had one daughter:

• Miriam B. Fischer (b. 23 November 1886;^[6] d. 25 July 1899 at age 12).^[6][7]

By 1900, Julius W. (age 46, book stationery store) and Alice C. Fisher (41, mother of one, none living) owned a house at 401 Baltimore Street in Hanover, Penn Township.^[2]

In 1910, Julius (age 55) still owned the bookstore, but he and Alice (50) rented a house at 12 East Middle Street in Hanover.^[8] The couple remained in the same house in 1920, and Julius continued to run their bookstore.^[9]

Julius died 22 June 1920 in Hanover at age 66 due to stomach cancer..^[3] He was buried there 25 June 1920 at Mount Olivet Cemetery.^[10]
