Memories: 1
Enter a personal reminiscence or story.
Grandpa Fiscus used to have a big garden in his back yard, and I remember going there as a very young child. He loved to show us the Jack-in-the-Pulpit flowers that grew along side his house, and then we would go out back to the garden.

Stuck in the ground next to the garden was an old crank from a Model A. He would have us kids turn the crank as hard as we could to help him "crank up the garden."

When we were done in the garden, we would go inside, and he always had two dishes of hard candies sitting out -- butterscotch for my sister, and cinnamon for me.
