Research Notes
Robert Fiscus was born ca.1874 to Daniel Fiscus and Rebecca Conder. Daniel died in 1876.[1]
It is likely that this is the Robert who married Violetta Fowler. We find Robert in the 1880 Census listed as "Bobbie," and he is living with his mother, Rebecca Fiscus, and his two siblings, Sarah and James.[2]
We know that Violetta married a Robert Fiscus, and we know that his mother's name was Rebecca Fiscus because after Robert died, Violetta was listed in the 1900 census as a widow and as the "daughter-in-law" of the head of the house, Rebecca Fiscus.[3]
Violetta's obituary says that her first husband died ca. 1917; however, since she was already calling herself a widow in the 1900 census, he must have died before 1900. [3]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Bobbie by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Bobbie:
