Biography

Maria Barbara, daughter of Frederick Fiscus and Anna Schwind, was born in May 1736 in Ober-Saulheim, Palatinate, Germany.[1] [2] She married Philipp Christoph Vogler and they had two known children.[2] They migrated to the New World, specifically to North Carolina. She died November 29, 1780 at Friedland, Stokes, North Carolina[2] and is buried at Friedland Moravian God's Acre, Forsyth County, North Carolina.[1][3]
