Biography

Nancy "Anna" Fish was born 26 AUG 1776 @ Stonington, Connecticut. She was the tenth and final child of Catherine (Helme), the second wife of Nathan Fish. She is listed in Wheeler's History of Stonington: Fish Family as Anna.

She apparently remained unmarried. She lived on the old homestead; a singer, a worker, a student of the Bible, and enemy of hypocrisy, a friend of all the good. A conscientious, earnest, Christian woman.

Nancy Fish died 14 NOV 1859. Her remains are buried at Fish Cemetery #18, Mystic, New London County, Connecticut, USA [1].

Listed on Plot Deed of Old Fish Cemetery as Nancy with incorrect birthday of Aug 6?
