Biography

Mary Fish was born about 1652 at Portsmouth, Rhode Island, the third child of Mary (uncertain surname) Fish (1625-1699) and Thomas Fish (bef.1619-1687) [1].

She married 18 Mar 1671 at Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Francis Brayton, son Francis and Mary Brayton. [2],[3]. Per the Fish genealogy they had at least 6 children [4], possibly others:

  1. Mary Brayton, b. 1 Jan 1676
  2. Thomas Brayton, b. 14 Jun 1681
  3. Francis Brayton, b. 17 mar 1684
  4. David Brayton, b. 22 Oct 1686
  5. Mehitable Brayton, b. 12 Jan 1693
  6. Benjamin Brayton Sr, b. 8 Sep 1695

Mary (Fish) Brayton died 04 Apr at 1747 Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island [5] .
