Reverend Joseph Fish was born on January 28, 1706, Duxbury, Plymouty County, Massachusetts. He was the third son of Thomas Fish and Margaret Woodward. He was a Pastor of the Church of Christ in Stonington. [1][2]
He died on May 16, 1781 in North Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, and was buried at the Great Plain Cemetery, there. [3]
Reverend Joseph Fish went to Harvard College and graduated in 1728. One of his classmates at Harvard was Reverend Nathaniel Eells, who would end up being his long time friend and neighbor.
On December 6, 1732, Rev Fish married Rebecca Pabodie, daughter of William Pabodie, and great granddaughter of John Alden.
