Research Notes

This profile previously had a marriage date of 1885 to Abraham Bagshaw (source not found) however she is more likely to be Abraham's first wife and died about 1840. (This was changed to "25 Nov 1828; Ontario, Canada" but no source was given.)

In the 1851 census, he appears to have an 18-year-old daughter, Emma Bagshaw.^[1]

There is a birth/baptism record image for Emma Bagshaw uploaded to an ancestry tree (currently unable to link) that gives the following details :
"Christ Church, Mimico Octr 12, 1834 - Emma Daughter of Abraham & Emma Bagshaw was baptised. born 3rd Sept 184 [sic 1834]"

There is an immigration record to New York in 1826 that suggests her father's name is Samuel Fish.^[2]
