Zachariah U'Tsa'Ta'Wa' Fish was born in the Cherokee Nation probably about 1775.
As with most early Cherokee, his parents are unknown. His wife was called Elizabeth. They were the parents of several children, but only one, Nathaniel lived to adulthood. [1] The family was Removed to Indian Territory where Zachariah died before the census of 1851. [2]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Zachariah by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Zachariah:
Jessica, this part of James Hicks' Cherokee Lineages appears to have been fabricated. The Native Americans project is working through such profiles and detaching them from the tree. I don't see a response to Kathie's question below from last December. The project would like to detach this profile from both the father listed here (also fictional) and from Nathaniel Fish. Any objections?
