Descendant of William Hickok, immigrant ancestor of Farmington, Colony of Connecticut.

Ann Hollister Fish was born in Brooklyn, New York, 20 Jan 1908. She was a daughter of Harold Latham Fish and Elizabeth Tyler Hollister ^[1],^[2].

Anne Hollister Fish resided with her birth family in Brooklyn until at least 1930 ^[3],^[4],^[5].

She married first, 21 Sep 1927, Walter Stiles Hoyt, with whom she had one child:

• Patricia (Hoyt) Wellman (1930-1988)

She married second, Edward Van Volkenburgh Sands (1895–1962), with whom she resided in 1940 ^[6].

Anne Hollister (Fish) Sands died at Bridgeport, Connecticut, 19 Oct 1962. Her grave is in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA ^[7].
