Biography

Matilda Fish was a daughter of Jonathan & Abigail (Fish) Fish. Her birth record provides evidence that her given name was Mahitable, and that she was born 18 March 1756 [1]. She probably preferred to be addressed as Matilda.

Matilda married Jesse Morgan Mar. 6, 1783.

They moved from Salem, Connecticut to Canaan, Wayne County, Pennsylvania.

Matilda (Fish) Morgan died 15 May 1837, age 80, in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. Her grave is in South Canaan Bible Protestant Cemetery, South Canaan, Wayne County, Pennsylvania, USA [2]

Fish-1970 and Fish-4075 appear to represent the same person because: Both Matilda have same parents, siblings and husband. I feel birth date difference should not stop merger.
