Thomas Fish was born on 15 Aug 1570 in Great Bowden, Leicestershire, England.
He married Mary Soule in 1585. She died in Great Bowden in 1639.
He immigrated to America and died in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.
This son of Augustine Fish and descendants are given by Dennis Bowman, 1565 S. Raritan, Denver, CO 80223 (1997) without references. PROOF IS NEEDED for this line! Bowman notes Thomas b 1530-73 and died 1565-1653 (!).
As noted by L.W. Fish, Thomas was probably a descendant of Edward Fyshe. [1] However it is unlikely that he was the son of Augustine Fyshe.
If this were true, then his son Robert would have actually married his first cousin, Alice Fishe, which is unlikely. It is more probable that Thomas Fish was grandson of the Augustyne Fyshe that was buried 7 MAY 1560 at Great Bowden, Leicestershire, England. [2]
