Research Notes

This son of Augustine Fish and descendants are given by Dennis Bowman, 1565 S. Raritan, Denver, CO 80223 (1997) without references. PROOF IS NEEDED for this line! Bowman notes Thomas b 1530-73 and died 1565-1653 (!).

As noted by L.W. Fish, Thomas was probably a descendant of Edward Fyshe. [1] However it is unlikely that he was the son of Augustine Fyshe.

If this were true, then his son Robert would have actually married his first cousin, Alice Fishe, which is unlikely. It is more probable that Thomas Fish was grandson of the Augustyne Fyshe that was buried 7 MAY 1560 at Great Bowden, Leicestershire, England. [2]

Fish-78 and Fyshe-34 appear to represent the same person because: Parents identical and both ref same DNA test. Birth range for one with less research includes birth year in other profile.

Marriage at 7 years old doesn't make sense? I've read elsewhere his birthday is about 1560.
