On 27 March 1873, Thomas married Frances Elizabeth Barrett in Story, Iowa.[2]
After the death of his wife, Thomas moved across the United States with his daughter, Mary "Della" and her family, to Washington State. [see Della's profile for more information about the big move]
Thomas died on 8 March 1934 in Chehalis, Lewis County, Washington.[3]
