This Daniel Fisher is not the son of Anthony Fisher and Mary Fiske for the following reasons: 1) If he was born in Massachusetts, that eliminates him as son of this Anthony who never left England; 2) Mary Fiske would have been 68 years old at his birth. His parents have been a problem. He may be a grandson of Anthony and Mary (Fiske) Fisher, but it needs a lot more research. Strutton-11 01:56, 9 November 2014 (EST)
The Birth Date is a rough estimate. See the text for details.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Daniel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Daniel:
Anthony was Anthony II...1591-1671, syleham england, husband of MAry Buckingham of syleham england, 1592-1663. They came to the US, 6/26/1637, on ship the Rose, Daniel born in the US. I am currently researching the syleham records, and the details of them leaving england during the reign of queen mary who was persecuting the Protestants at the time..they died in Dedham mass ..my cousin in Massachusetts is a geneologist and is helping me from the US side .
Any perspective appreciated.
We have a reasonably good yDNA profile for this Daniel Fisher's descendants, which was published in the Mayflower Descendant, Summer 2016. It was part of an article about Henry Fisher (Daniel's great-grandson) and his wife, Eunice Palmer, who was a descendant of the Billington line.
Hi Sherri, regarding the proposed merge of this profile with Fisher-1112, please could you add any sources that you have regarding Daniel’s parents, as there appears to be some discussion needed about this. Thanks Gillian

https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/LCMH-6MH It was also found via yDNA that Daniel was close relation of one of the Thomas Fishers who signed the Dedham Compact: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LKTY-VYC By age and the indication that he was not a son of the Thomas, Daniel may have been Thomas' nephew.
