Benjamin was born in 1822. He was the son of Clotworthy Fisher and Catherine Pitner. He passed away in 1906. He served in the Civil War. He enlisted into Company I, 12th Pennsylvania Cavalry, and second time into the 112th Heavy Artillery. he was wound in the battle of the Wilderness 5 May 1868. The wound he received was to his right hand, the first two fingers were shot off.
