Biography

  • Henry served in World War 2 in RAAF (266052) from June 8, 1942 until November 23, 1945. At time of Discharge he was a Flying Officer with 11 Stores Department. He was the son of Albert Fisher and Lily May Plowright.
  • His Death Notice reads:
  • "FISHER, Henry (Harry) Bernard - July 5, 1967 at hospital, of 26 Rugland Avenue, Castlecrag, loving husband of Bunty, dear father and father-in-law of Peter and Elaine, grandfather of David and Rachel, stepfather of Lynette Hilyskins and Kemp and Lloyd Sawyer and brother of Mina (deceased), Arthur (Melbourne) and Bernard (Tasmania)." He was cremated at Northern Suburbs.
