Biography

Mehitabel was born 27 April 1648, the daughter of Anthony and Johanna Fisher of Dedham, Massachusetts ^{[1] [2]}

Circa 1667, she may have married Peter Woodward^[3], however these sources do not confirm his wife's maiden name. More research is needed to clearly connect Mehitable Fisher to Peter Woodward.

Peter Woodward and his wife Mehitable Unknown had the following children:

2. Anna, borne 2 Feb 1669, who died 8 June 1683^[2]
3. John, born in July 1671^[2]
4. Ebenezer, 15 July 1675^[2]
5. Mehitabel, born September 9, 1677, who died circa 1703^[2]
6. Peter, born 29 October 1679^[2]
7. Judith, born March -- 1682/3^[2]
8. Samuel, December 26, 1685^[2]
9. Anne, born Aprell 17, 1688^[2]
10. 'Elizabeth, born August 14, 1691^[2]

Torrey suggests the family subsequently moved to Roxbury, however Mehitable's death on May 12, 1727 was recorded in the Dedham records^{[2] [4]}
