Western Australia The Fisher family, Henry, Mary and their five children travelled to the Swan River Colony on board the ship Clara arriving on 3 September 1853. The Clara carried a human cargo of 48 married couples with their children numbering 101 and 124 single females. [1][2]
The Children Henry was born in 1839, he was 14 when he arrived in the Colony with his family. Thomas was 7, John was 6, Mary was 4 and Sarah Ann was 2.
