I would love to travel to the various places that my ancestors came from. Right now that isn't an option. I live in Sydney, Australia which is on the other side of the world to where most of my ancestors came from. But I'm keen to just chat with people, see if there are any photos of tidbits of information that are relevant to my ancestors.

Melanie was born in Sydney, Australia. Her favourite things about living in Sydney are the sound of kookaburras, magpies and even the rather noisy rainbow lorikeets in her garden, spectacular snorkelling at Cabbage Tree Bay aquatic reserve, and the wonderful blue skies. Melanie married the love of her life and travelled to the other side of the world with him, and developed a taste for travel. They travelled all over Europe with their children before returning to live in Sydney.
The travels have been somewhat curbed by Covid but they enjoy armchair travel when not working. The benefit of Covid was the change to working from home which they enjoy doing side by side.
Melanie finds pleasure in painting with watercolours and hopes to do more when she reaches retirement - along with being able to have more time to do genealogy.
