I found that Henry Munroe Fisher and Marguerite Laframboise had another son, Vital Dumont dit Cayol. He was the adopted stepson of Gabriel Dumont’s uncle, Jean Baptiste Dumont. Hence the problem; he was born a Fisher, but now that he is adopted, his legal name became Dumont. What is the right way to enter him? I could use Dumont and leave notes, but then I was thinking his descendants would believe he is of the Dumont line. Maybe I could use the new adopted thing they have too and leave him under Jean Baptiste Dumont? Any thoughts on this dilemma? https://www.scribd.com/document/368919207/Dumont-dit-Cayole-Vital-1830-1895
