Biography

Birth & Baptism 1814 Kilham

Harriet Fisher, daughter of John Fisher and his wife, Mary Milner, was baptised at Kilham in Yorkshire on 21 March 1814. [1]

Kilham 1841 with Father

Harriet's mother died early in 1840 and was buried at All Saints in Kilham. [2] Harriet was still living with her father when the 1841 Census was taken. [3]

In 1845 she married agricultural labourer, George Haggitt, son of Henry Haggitt and his wife, Ann Coal. The marriage was registered at Driffield and quite likely performed at All Saints, Kilham. [4] They lived at first with her father. [5] Ten years later George had established himself as a farmer and moved his family to Back Street. [6]

Harriet died in 1889. [7]

Thanks, C,

I have carried out the merge, which really consisted in adding my baptism information to your much fuller profile. I shall look for fuller details of Baptism and Marriage in the East Riding Archives/Treasure House

Fisher-16911 and Fisher-9374 appear to represent the same person because: Having adjusted DOB estimate inline with the census return shows that these represent just one person.
