William Gray came to Nova Scotia (year unknown) and married Elizabeth 'Betsy' Clarke 'of that place' in 1832 at Glenholme (Folly), Nova Scotia. They settled there and are buried in the Glenholme Cemetery. They had 3 sons.
I'm in contact with other 'Gray' researchers of our particular branch but there are brick walls and tangled webs. Deer Isle seems to figure more in our story than we'd originally thought.
My GGgrandfather was William Gray, born in Deer Isle, Maine, 1806, to Jeremiah B. Gray and Hannah Nason Bray.

Welcome back and thanks for signing the Honor Code, Elizabeth! I hope you discover as much about your family as I have about mine over the last several years.

Check out the How-to pages for some quick tips on working with both the Wiki pages and our other members. There is some great information in those pages.

If you have questions about how WikiTree works, let me know and I will find answers. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.

Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
