Biography
Lucy (Fiske) Beach was born in Massachusetts.
Lucy, the fourth daughter and tenth child of Daniel Fiske and Elizabeth A. Morse was born 4 August 1799 at Sturbridge, Massachusetts.[1]
Lucy married Joseph Beach, son of Asa Alexander and Mary Hunter (Bunter) Beach on 7 September 1824 at Sturbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts.[2]They had seven children:
- Elizabeth A. Beach (b. 1826; d. 1892), m. 26 Jan 1848 Benjamin Franklin Hutchins (1822-1903)
- Albert Fiske Beach (b. 1830; d. 1880),
- George Emerson Beach (b. 1832; d. 1893), m. 1 Feb 1887 at St. Croix, WI, Retta S. Graham
- Frances Henrietta Beach (b. 1834; d. 1921), m. 21 Mar 1866, Davis William Millard (1834-1871)
- Joseph Stiles Beach (b. 1836; d. 1914), m. 22 Jun 1861, Frances Marvin (1839-1902)
- Julia Mariah Beach (b. 1838 ; d. 1911), m. 23 Jan 1866 at Jackson, WI, Jeremiah Mason (1838-1913)
- Charlotte Beach (b. 1843; d. 1937), m. say 1860, Levi Lorenzo Callen (1843-1931)
Lucy (Fiske) Beach died 21 August 1879 in her 80 year at Charlton, New York and is buried beside her husband in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Charlton, Saratoga, New York.[3]
