Josiah Fiske was born in Pepperell, Massachusetts on Nov 14, 1781. He was the son of Josiah Fiske and Mary Caldwell. [1]
He married Betsey Kimball of Temple, New Hampshire (born about 1786 and died June 21 1866). [1]
They lived in Temple, New Hampshire until 1808 when Josiah moved to Andover, Vermont. He returned five years later and spent the last four years of his ife in New Ipswich, New Hampshire. [1]
He lost his life in Medford, Massachusetts where he was accidentally drowned on July 19, 1817. [1] The Medford Deaths record it as "Josiah, a stranger, drowned in canal, buried July 20, 1816". [2]
