Biography

Bathsheba Fitz Randolph was born in 1718 in Piscataway in colonial New Jersey, the daughter of David Fitz Randolph and Sarah Molleson. She married Elijah Pound in 17xx. They had x children before Bathsheba passed away in 1743 at the age of 24, probably in Piscataway where she is buried in the Saint James Episcopal Church Cemetery in present-day Edison, NJ.

In this Fitz Randolph family, Fitz appears to have been used by all family members in the family where Bathsheba is a child as their middle name as if part of their surname: In some censuses and birth records, the family is recorded using FitzRandolph or Fitz Randolph.
