T.H. Fitzgerald 77 Dies May 6
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon last week for Thomas H. Fitzgerald 77 who died May 6 at the home of a Daughter Mrs.Claude Whetsen at Crossroads.Mr. Fitzgerald died suddenly with a heart attack while Mr. and Mrs. Whetsen were in town. The funeral services were held at the White Oak School with Rev. Ira Bray Officiating. Bural was in the Huffman Cemetery.
He was born Jan 28, 1868 in Douglas County near Ongo. He married Maria Jones Feb 2, 1898. To them seven children were born.
Surviving children are Mrs. F. C. Bass of San Marcos, California, Mrs. Claude Whetsen of Crossroads, Mrs. Tony Blazevich of Des
Moines, Iowa, and Mrs. Ed Casner of Strafford. He also leaves nine grandchildren. His wife died ten years ago.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
