Information from the Monroe County Death Record Index confirms that Effie Worley died on June 27, 1914, and indicates that her age at death was 35. 1

The request for admission was written on letterhead from the Board of Children's Guardians, Bloomington, Indiana, and was dated June 23, 1913.

John T. Eller was identified as the board's president. Mrs. Mary A.

"Minnie" A. Waldron was the Board's secretary. 1

Camilla was reportedly born June 26, 1899; George Edmund was reportedly born March 4, 1907. 1

Effie (Fitzpatrick) Bockman Worley, married to Edward Worley, was identified as the mother of Camilla and George. Effie was the daughter of John Fitzpatrick who served as a private in the Civil War, Co. I (could be "J" as it was difficult to read), 22nd Indiana. 1

Effie's first husband, and the father of Camilla and George, was George Bockman. According to a note written in the margin of one documents, the elder George may have died in Peoria, Illinois. Effie died on June 27, 1914, in Bloomington, Indiana. Her cause of death was TB. 1

Camilla Bockman was discharged from the orphanage in 1915; George was discharged in 1921. 1

Note: Effie Fitzpatrick married George E. Bockman on 23 August 1897 in Monroe County, Indiana. Effie divorced George in May 1911 after he was twice sentenced to prison terms, first in 1898 and again in 1908. Effie married Edward W. Worley on 27 November 1911 in Monroe County, Indiana. Effie was born in 1879, the daughter of John Z. Fitzpatrick and Jemima "Mary J." (Cain) Fitzpatrick. 1

DEATH MRS. EDWARD WORLEY.

Mrs. Edward Worley, formerly Mrs. Effie Bockman, a daughter of John Fitzpatrick, died at 7 o'clock this morning at her home on west 8th street between Morton and College avenue. Her death was from tuberculosis. Mr. Worley is a driver of one of the Worley Sons transfer wagons. Mrs. Worley leaves two children. The funeral will be held from the residence Sunday at 3 o'clock in charge of Rev. Joseph Campbell. 1
